The Rules

1. Team Assignment

  • Every participant is assigned to one of the four Tetramorph teams upon registration.

  • Team assignments are final and may not be changed.

  • All points earned contribute to your team's total score.

2. How to Play

  • Complete missions, challenges, puzzles, and activities throughout the conference.

  • Challenges may be individual, small group, or team-based.

  • Some activities will have limited availability or bonus point opportunities.

3. Scoring

  • Every completed challenge earns points for your Tetramorph.

  • Point values will vary by challenge and will be posted in the Conference Quest app or on challenge materials.

  • Bonus challenges may appear without notice.

4. Fair Play

  • Play honestly and respectfully.

  • Do not interfere with another team's progress or remove challenge materials.

  • Only submit your own team's work.

  • Any attempt to cheat, exploit technology, or falsify a completion may result in the loss of points or disqualification from a challenge.

5. Respect the Conference

  • Follow all conference rules and instructions from volunteers and staff.

  • Stay within approved areas of campus.

  • Be respectful of worship services, speakers, residence halls, and other conference activities.

  • Challenges should never disrupt presentations or worship services.

6. Safety First

  • No running inside buildings.

  • Do not enter restricted or staff-only areas.

  • Complete only those physical challenges that can be done safely.

  • Staff decisions regarding safety are final.

7. Challenge Availability

  • Some challenges are only available during specific times.

  • Once a challenge closes, no additional submissions will be accepted.

  • Staff may modify or cancel challenges as needed.

8. Winning

  • Points are accumulated throughout the entire conference.

  • The Tetramorph with the highest total score at the conclusion of Conference Quest will be crowned the champion.

9. Most Important Rule

Conference Quest exists to encourage fellowship, exploration, service, creativity, and fun throughout the conference. Compete enthusiastically, celebrate one another, and enjoy the adventure together.

The Instructions

Welcome to the Adventure!

Conference Quest transforms takes the Higher Things Tetramorph competition to the next level. Every challenge you complete earns points for your Tetramorph as you compete for glory and the Conference Quest Championship.

Step 1: Find Your Team

At registration, you'll receive your Tetramorph assignment and Conference Quest materials. Every participant belongs to one of four teams:

  • Aquila

  • Bos

  • Leo

  • Vir

Step 2: Access the Portal

Open the Conference Portal by scanning the QR code or visiting the conference website. Here you'll find the Conference Quest Leader Board

Step 3: Complete Challenges

Challenges will appear throughout the conference and may include:

  • Solving puzzles

  • Creative photo or video missions

  • Trivia and scavenger hunts

  • Team activities

Some challenges can be completed individually, while others require friends or your entire Tetramorph.

Step 4: Submit Your Mission

Follow the instructions for each challenge to submit your answer, upload a photo, scan a QR code, or receive volunteer verification. Once approved, the points will be added to your team's total.

Step 5: Watch the Leaderboard

Keep an eye on the live standings throughout the week. Bonus challenges and surprise missions may appear at any time, giving every Tetramorph a chance to climb the rankings.

Step 6: Finish Strong

Conference Quest runs throughout the conference and concludes on Friday morning with the final challenge. The winner will be crowned conference quest champion, receive a prize, and earn the bragging rights forever memorialized on the Conference Quest Banner.

Tips for Success

  • Keep your eyes and ears open for challenges!

  • Work together with your Tetramorph.

  • Participate in as many activities as possible.

  • Most importantly, have fun and make new friends along the way!
